Adding the enhanced windscreen protector to any IriCom headset significantly improves against side and front wind noise on open moving vessals moving at high speed (>15knots).

It also facilitates easy replacement of the large wind screen and sanitizing the microphone. It attaches over the microphone small foam screen on the boom with a screw clamp.
